NORTHFIELD, Vt- The Norwich University Volleyball team earned their third straight victory with a straight set win over Salem State Friday night inside Andrews Hall.

The first set was straight domination for the Cadets winning nine consecutive points taking a 15-4 advantage and not looking back as senior
Ana Lopez (Laredo, Texas) led the way with four kills and nine total attempts. Not far behind was freshman
Bella Ray (Martinsburg, W.Va.) with three kills. Ray finished the game led the team high in kills with nine.

The second set was a similar story where Norwich took the lead early on and never looked back since the lead only changed hands once. In this frame junior
Leah Mathewson (
North Chelmsford, Mass.) was credited with four kills and 11 total attacks.

The final frame was more of a struggle as the lead changed twice and the score was tied four times. The Cadets took the lead for good when sophomore
Ava Nihill (Marshfield, Mass) set up senior
Maggie McNeil (Gilford, N.H.) for the kill to go up 21-16. McNeil led the team in digs with 27 which ties a career high and Nihill's eight assists was second on the team for the night and a second career high. Only Cadet with more assists was senior
Sarah Farnum (North Andover, Mass) with 22.
For the Vikings they had three blocks. Individually, junior
Abigail O'Connor (Gilford, N.H.) Â led the team in kills with four,
Eva Haralabatos (Melrose, Mass) had 14 assists, and
Kailey Roche (
Billerica, Mass) had 21 digs.
