NORTHFIELD, Vt.- The Norwich University Women's Soccer team suffered a crippling 2-0 defeat at the hands of Colby-Sawyer Wednesday night at Sabine Field.

Colby-Sawyer broke the ice in the 31^st minute when sophomore Bridget O'Connell (Peabody, Mass.)  stole the ball off the boot of the Cadet defender, and scored on a breakaway. O'Connell finished the game with eight total shots, two on goal. Hannah Marquis (Weare, N.H.) added the second and final tally for the Chargers in the 63^rd minute.  The standout for the Cadets was goalkeeper Rebecca Karis (Fayetteville, NC).

The Cadets return to action Sunday afternoon when they visit Dean College Sunday afternoon at 2:30.
