NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Senior forward Anthony Amell (Northfield, Vt.) scored and junior goalkeeper Christian Hallstrom (Las Vegas, Nev.) recorded a shutout as the Norwich University men's soccer team won its third straight match on Monday night at Sabine Field with a 1-0 victory over Eastern Nazarene.
Amell scored in the 14th minute on a header into the right side of the net off a perfect cross from the left from sophomore defender Christian Albrecht (Albuquerque, N.M.) for his first goal of the season. Amell's goal would stand up as the Norwich defense took care of the rest.
