Box Score NORTHFIELD, Vt.—Five different players scored in double-figures to lead the Norwich University men's basketball team to an 82-70 win against Lasell College in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action on Thursday evening.
With the win, the Cadets improve to 5-10 overall and 2-6 in GNAC play, while the loss drops the visiting Lasers to 2-13 on the season and 1-7 in league play.

The Cadets did not trail in the second half and led by as many as 14 points with 14:20 still to play, but a pair of fouls called against Norwich at 12:33 and 11:44 would allow Lasell's Frank Apisa to cut the Norwich lead to eight points. The Cadets used the next three minutes for a 7-0 run to expand their lead back to nine, and held the advantage for the remainder of the half.
The lead changed six times in the early minutes of the first half as neither team led by more than four points. At the 6:53 mark, the Lasers tied the game for the last time as Norwich claimed the lead and extended it to double-figures at the 1:58 mark. The Cadets carried a nine-point advantage, 39-30, into the half.
