Box Score 2 WALTHAM, Mass. – The Lasell baseball team took both games of a Great Northeast Athletic Conference doubleheader from Norwich University by identical 5-2 scores Saturday, March 31, at Stein Diamond. With the sweep Lasell moves to 6-13 (2-0 GNAC) and Norwich falls to 2-15 and 0-2 in conference play.
Brendan Jordan went five innings, giving up three hits and two earned runs to pick up the victory for the Lasers in game one. The sophomore right-hander struck out three and walked four.
Joshua Sullivan led LC at the plate in the opener going 3-for-4 with a double, a triple and a run batted in. Teammate Bobby Stachura added a double and three RBIs on 2-for-3 hitting.
Junior second baseman
J.J. Losco (Wakefield, Mass./Wakefield) led Norwich offensively in the first game as he went 2-for-4. Senior lefthander
Alexandro Cardoza (Cicero, Ill./Cristo Rey Jesuit) took the loss as he fell to 1-3.
Sullivan continued his tear in game two, going 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Dan O'Boyle earned the win on the mound for LC, giving up four hits and striking out three in five innings of relief.
