POULTNEY, Vt. - Junior Lisset Magdaleno
produced a double-double with 17 kills and 14 digs to lead the
Norwich University volleyball team to a commanding 3-0 victory over
in-state rival Green Mountain College on Tuesday evening.
The Cadets (7-1) won by set scores of 25-22, 25-8 and 25-21.
Sophomore Molly Rice served up a team-high 28 assists to go
along with six digs and four service aces. Freshman Brittany Palmer
added 10 digs, six kills and three service aces, while junior
Nicole Kasanoff chipped in eight digs.
Norwich returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 20, when the Cadets
host GNAC foes Simmons (12 p.m.) and Suffolk (4 p.m.) at Andrews
Hall.
