PERSONAL: Daughter of Björgvin Hrafnkelsson and Asta Þorláksdóttir … has four siblings; Snjólaug, Þorvladur, Diana and Dilja.  

BEFORE NORWICH: Played seven years for the women's team at Skautafélag Akureyrar where we won the league and we were National Champions eight years in a row ... named team MVP in five years ... played one season in Södertalje Sweden in Division 1 and had most goals and most points in the Division ... member of Icelandic national team since 15 years old ... played 6 world championships in Division 2 group B ... served as assistant captain in 2017 and 2020 and captain in 2019 ... Named Iceland's MVP in 2015 ... named Best Forward of the Tournament three years in a row, 2018, 2019 and 2020 ... named athlete of the year at Menntaskólinn á Akureyri in 2018. In 2019, named ice hockey women of the year in all Iceland, ice hockey women of the year and athlete of the year for Skautafélag Akureyar and I was runner up in Women's athlete of the year in my hometown, Akureyri. 

WHY NORWICH?: "I chose Norwich for the hockey and only heard good things about the athletic program and head coach Sophie Leclerc. I feel like it's a place where I can grow as an individual and as a hockey player. I like the winning mentality of the hockey team and I'm really looking forward to work hard and play hard."
