2013: Tied for team lead in wins with three on the mound...went 3-1 with team-best ERA of 3.44..threw 36.2 innings, striking out 36 batters...threw a complete game vs. Lasell on 4/17...also hit .250 in 28 at bats.

2012: Was third on team in strikeouts, with 15 in just 21 innings...also had six rbis and three doubles at the plate, with an on-base percentage of .303.

2011: Made seven appearances with five starts ... recorded 17 strikeouts, fourth-highest total on the team.

2010: Went 1-1 in three starts and eight appearances in a strong freshman season ... led the team with a 4.34 ERA ... struck out 14 and allowed only 16 hits in 18.2 inning of work ... held opponents to a .222 batting average. 

BEFORE NORWICH: Was a four-year member of varsity baseball team at Old Colony High School ... team was league champs in 2009 ... tabbed as team’s “MVP” and named to the South Coast High School All-Star team as a senior ... Played four years of senior Babe Ruth ... member of the Gateway Babe Ruth all-star travel team that captured a championship at Disney Wide World of Sports in 2007 ... one-year member of the Post 220 American Legion team.

PERSONAL: Son of Jonathan and Ruth Philbrook ... has a brother, Benjamin ... is a Regimental Commander in the Norwich Corps of Cadets ... majoring in History.
