2013: Saw action in 11 games as a sophomore...scored three goals on the season--two against Daniel Webster (4/16) and one against Anna Maria in the GNAC Quarterfinals (4/23)...added four ground balls and one caused turnover on the season. 

2012: Played in eight games as a freshman...scored four goals and added one assist to total five points...recorded his first collegiate goal in a three-goal performance against Emerson (4/4)...also scored against Lyndon State (5/2)...added six ground balls on the season. 

BEFORE NORWICH: Two-sport standout at Westwood HS in hockey and lacrosse...named team captain for each...Earned Unsung Hero award in lacrosse in 2011...named to the league All-Star team in ice hockey...also played hockey for the Walpole Express.

PERSONAL: Son of Paul and Laura Murphy...has one brother, Paul...member of the NU Club Ice Hockey team...Private in the NU Corps of Cadets...majoring in criminal justice.
