Trevor Chase '23 enters his first season as a graduate assistant coach for the football team in 2024.

As one of the most storied players to don the Norwich uniform, Chase's illustrious football career is marked by commendable achievements and records that have left an indelible mark on the program’s history.  Through his tenure at Norwich, Chase's dedication on the field and his remarkable talent have solidified his status as an all-time great, earning him a revered spot among the legends of Norwich football.

After joining the Norwich community, Chase quickly emerged as a powerhouse on the football field, demonstrating exceptional skill and sportsmanship.  His collegiate journey is highlighted by numerous accolades, including being a three-time New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) First Team selection.  This distinguished recognition is a testament to Chase's consistent performance and significant contribution to the team's success.

In 2022, Chase's outstanding abilities were further recognized when he was named the NEWMAC Offensive Player of the Year, capping a season where his performance on the field left opponents and spectators alike in awe.  His first major accolade came in 2019, when he was honored as the NEWMAC Rookie of the Year, showcasing his immediate impact and setting the stage for a legendary college career.

Chase's name is synonymous with excellence in Norwich’s football program, holding top records that speak volumes of his prowess as a receiver.  He leads with an unmatched 255 career receiving receptions, a staggering 3,244 receiving yards, and an impressive tally of 33 receiving touchdowns.  These statistics underscore his skill and dedication and his critical role in shaping the team's offensive strength.

Adding to his collection of records, Chase also holds the highest number of receptions in a single game, with 13 receptions against St. Lawrence in 2019, and in a single season, with 88 receptions in 2022.  These feats contributed to his selection as a d3football.com All-East Region Second Team in 2022, further cementing his legacy in the annals of Norwich football history.

Upon graduating from Norwich in 2023, Chase’s passion for growth and development has led him to pursue a Master’s degree from Norwich.
