Patrick Junor joined the Norwich University football program in August 2017 and will coach the Cadets running backs.
Junor joins the Cadets with coaching experience across many levels of football, most recently serving as the running backs coach at Oklahoma Panhandle State University. He assisted an offense that finished ranked eighth in all of NCAA Division II. At Arizona Western College the year before, Junor and his linebacker corps helped the team earn 11 wins in 12 games. With the Matadors, he coached a First Team All-American, Larry McCord.
At Saint Francis (Pa.) University in 2013, Junor coached an All-American running back, Kyle Harbridge, who finished third in the nation with 1,613 rushing yards. Junor was also responsible for recruiting, scouting reports and other football-related duties. He has also spent time at Bluefield College, Southwest Minnesota State University, coaching linebackers and the offensive line/tight ends, respectively.
Junor also coached in junior player development and high school player development programs for two years, implementing and designing strength training courses for class and gym clients.
After redshirting at Kansas State University during the 2005 season, Junor was a three-year member of the football program at the University of Arkansas from 2006-08. Graduating from Arkansas with a degree in Kinesiology, Junor also served a stint as the team’s football manager for two years.
Patrick and his wife, Meghan, have relocated to Vermont from Miami, Fla.
