John Rhoades serves as the assistant coach for the baseball team and also serves as an assistant coach for the NU football team.
Rhoades held the head coach title for 10 seasons, the longest tenure coach in program history, and complied an overall record of 56-236-1.
In 2010, Rhoades oversaw a Cadets team that qualified for the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament for the first time since 2005.
Prior to coaching collegiately, Rhodes was an assistant coach at Windsor (Vt.) High School from 1996-98. He also served as the head coach of the Hartford (Vt.) American Legion team in the summer of 1996.
As a football coach, Rhoades has made stops at Plymouth State, his alma mater, New Hampshire, and Bowdoin College.
Rhoades earned a degree in Physical Education from the University of New Hampshire in 1993.
Rhoades resides in Northfield with his wife, Annette, and their daughter, Ashlyn. He enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family.
