Greg Vreeland joined the Norwich coaching staff prior to the 2018 season and serves as the team's wide receivers coach.

In two years the Cadets have produced back-to-back NEWMAC Rookie of the Year wideouts as Lavontae Decius '22 (2018) and Trevor Chase '23 (2019) captured the award in successive seasons and Manni Romero '21 blossomed into one of the top receivers in the country in NCAA Division III ranking in the top 10 in both receiving yards (1235) and receiving yards per game (123.5). Romero and Chase both boasted 10-TD catch seasons in 2019.

Vreeland graduated from Castleton University in 2014 with a degree in Physical Education. While at Castleton, he was a four-year letter winner in football and two years in baseball. Vreeland started at quarterback for Castleton's first-ever bowl game and helped lead the team to a NAC Championship in 2012.

After graduating, Vreeland joined the Castleton coaching staff as the wide receivers coach in May 2014. He coached for a year at his alma mater before moving on to East Coast Prep in May 2015. Vreeland was the Quarterbacks and Wide Receivers at ECP as well as the Recruiting Coordinator.

From there, Vreeland moved to NEWMAC-foe Massachusetts Institute of Technology as their Offensive Football Intern. He handled the team's running backs as well as coordinating the team's video.
