Grantham Raymond

Grantham Raymond was named the Defensive Backs Coach prior to the 2018 season. 

Raymond received his Bachelor's degree in Sport Management with a minor in Athletic Coaching and Business Management from Springfield College in 2013. He then went on the receive his Masters in Management from Shorter University in 2017. 

While at Springfield he served as the undergraduate assistant coach under Coach Mike DeLong for three seasons. He then moved on to Saint Anselm College in 2013 to coach the defensive backs for a year, a unit that ranked ninth in the country in interceptions for the season, before heading to Williams College to coach linebackers for two seasons and serving as the junior varsity Head Coach.

Most recently Raymond coached at Shorter University in Rome, Georgia as the linebackers coach for the past two seasons. While there he coached Jevaris Jones to a 2nd Team All-Gulf South Conference and a professional contract with the New York Jets. During that time period, the team also had the conferences leading tackler both seasons (Kareem Taylor, 2017 and Javaris Jones, 2016). At Shorter, Raymond also served as Director of Analytics and Video Coordinator.
