Adam Chicoine

Adam Chicoine was hired as the defensive line coach for the Norwich University football program prior to the 2015 season. Since the 2017 campaign, Chicoine has assisted the defensive backs for the Cadets. He came to NU from Castleton University where he served as an inside linebackers coach, camp coordinator and recruiting coordinator.

After a two-year playing career for the Spartans, Chicoine joined the staff in 2012 as a Student Assistant and coached the outside linebackers for his remaining two years of school. Following the completion of his undergraduate degree, he served as the Graduate Assistant coach for the defensive line before his most recent position as inside linebackers coach, camp coordinator, and recruiting coordinator.

During his coaching career, Chicoine has coached five All-Conference players and mentored one Academic All-American.

A native of Burlington, Vt., Chicoine was a 2008 graduate of Burlington HS where he played four years of varsity football and celebrated three championships as a two-sport athlete. Serving as a team captain of both the football and basketball teams as a senior, Chicoine was selected to play in the Vermont North-South Senior All-star Classic and the Annual Shrine Maple Sugar Football Bowl.

Chicoine graduated from Castleton University in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in Philosophy with a minor in Coaching. He went on to attain a Master's degree in 2015 from his alma mater in Education.
