Ryan Gallagher joined the Norwich Baseball coaching staff prior to the 2025 season as an Assistant Coach.
Most Recently, Gallagher served as the First Base Coach at Endicott College in 2023, a season where the Gulls won the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC, now known as the Conference of New England CNE) Championship before making it to the College World Series. He was on the coaching staff while completing his Master of Science in Sports Administration.
During his undergraduate studies, the Methuen, Mass. native attended fellow Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) member Dean. Over his four-year career as a catcher, Gallagher accumulated a slash line of .287/.376/.440 in 58 games, highlighted by his senior year in 2022 hitting .287/.376/.447, with 12 runs scored, 27 hits, eight doubles, a triple, three home runs, and 13 walks. Academically, he graduated from Dean with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management.
In addition to serving as the Assistant Baseball Coach, Gallagher also works as the Assistant Director of Admissions and Athletic Recruiting at Norwich.
