Frank Pecora concluded his ninth and final season as the head coach of the baseball team in 2024.

Pecora became the 19th head coach of the Norwich University baseball team on June 30, 2015.  Before being promoted, Pecora was the assistant baseball coach for the past three years.

Under Coach Pecora, 11 Cadets have earned All-Conference accolades, while three have earned spots on the All-Defensive team.

In his final season at the helm, Pecora piloted the Cadets to one of its greatest seasons in program history, leading Norwich to its first postseason victories since 2000 by topping reigning conference champions JWU (Providence) and University of Saint Joseph (Conn.).  Pecora announced his retirement shortly before the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament.

In 2021, NU posted a 6-3 overall record with a 4-2 mark in GNAC play. The Cadets strung together six wins in a row for the first time since the 1989 season before falling to Albertus Magnus in the First Round of the GNAC playoffs.

Before the 2020 season was cut short due to COVID-19, NU was on pace for its best record in the 21st century, carrying a 6-6 overall record when the season was cancelled.pecora

In 2018, NU posted its best conference record since joining the Great Northeast Athletic Conference, going 7-7 and earning the 5-seed in the tournament.

Coach Pecora earned the 2017 GNAC Coach of the Year award after the Cadets posted a 6-8 conference record, a four-win improvement from 2016. He also led Norwich to the GNAC playoffs for the first time since the 2014 season. The team's 12 overall wins were the most since the 2004 season.

Pecora came to Norwich in 2013 after 38 years as the head coach of Northfield High School. While at NHS, Pecora won 15 state championships in 19 appearances and accumulated an overall record of 488-157-1. He is also a Vermont Principal's Association Hall of Fame member.
