2014-15: Dressed in 27 of team's 30 games ... scored two goals and tallied 10 assists for 12 points to rank sixth among NU defensemen ... had two multi-assist games with two assists each vs. Southern Maine (11/14) and Skidmore (12/5).
2013-14: Skated in 22 games ... scored three goals and dished out eight assists for 11 points ... scored first career goal and game-winning goal vs. Southern Maine (11/15) ... named ECAC East Rookie of the Week (Nov. 19) after five-point weekend vs. Southern Maine/UNE.
BEFORE NORWICH: Played hockey and tennis at Hudson High School ... played four years for the Boston Jr. Bruins of the Eastern Junior Hockey League (EJHL) ... He scored 17 goals and 67 assists for 84 points in 122 games played. Last season, he served as the team captain, posting six goals and 21 assists for 27 points.
PERSONAL: Son of Richard and Audrey Smith ... has one brother, Brett, who played college hockey at Saint Anselm College and played professionally for the Knoxville Ice Bears of the SPHL ... majoring in Communications.
