2015: Played in all 11 games for Norwich as a junior, currently playing in 25-straight games at linebacker...Led the team with 56 total tackles in 2015, he averaged 5.1 takedowns per game that included a season-best 12 at Mount Ida on Oct. 31....Recorded at least one tackle in all 11 games...Posted eight takedowns against RPI in the season-opener on Sept. 5...Made seven solo tackles against Mount Ida on Oct. 31...Made one tackle for a loss against the Mustangs, also recording a pass break-up.
2014: Saw action in all 11 games as a sophomore… credited a season-high 30 tackles on the season, including four against Gallaudet (11/1).
2013: Saw action in nine games as a freshman...totaled six tackles on the season, including two in the season opener against RPI (9/7).
BEFORE NORWICH: 2013 graduate of St. Mary’s HS…lettered in football and lacrosse…played football for Steve Erxleben and captained the team as a junior and senior…was named to Team Maryland and played in the Big 33 football game against Team Pennsylvania…captained the Baltimore Touchdown Club’s All-Star game as a senior…named an all-state first team selection as a senior and a second team selection as a junior…two-time all-county and all-conference selection…helped the Saints to the Anne Arundel Country Gridiron Elite 8 as a senior.
PERSONAL: Born on January 12, 1995…son of Wes and Susan Hummer…has one sister, Leah…was a member of the Environmental Club, the Rod and Reel Club, and the 13 Year Club at St. Mary’s…is a member of the NU Corps of Cadets…majoring in criminal justice.
