WINTHROP, Mass. - The Norwich University women's basketball team earned its third Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week honor of the season on Monday afternoon, as freshman Cassidy Kittredge (Waterford, Vt.) was recognized for her standout performance at the 2025 Ed Hockenbury Classic, as announced by the league office.

Kittredge joins Gracie Laster (Arlington, Va.) as GNAC Rookie of the Week honorees for the Cadets this season, after Laster earned the award in each of the season's first two weeks.

Kittredge turned in a dominant two-game stretch to lead Norwich to a runner-up finish at the Hockenbury Classic, averaging 14.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 1.0 assist per game while shooting 50.0% from the field and a perfect 7-7 at the free-throw line.

The freshman forward posted 15 points and seven rebounds in Friday's 75-30 opening-round win over Vermont State University Randolph, then followed with a 13-point, 10-rebound double-double against New England College to earn a spot on the All-Classic Team.

Kittredge also finished the week with a 2.0 assist-to-turnover ratio, adding a block and two steals over 56 total minutes of action.

The Cadets now turn their attention to a month-long road swing, beginning with a 5:30 p.m. non-conference tilt at Nichols College on Wednesday, Dec. 10.  Norwich will then head to New York City for a two-day tournament hosted by Baruch College, where they will face Rhodes College on Friday, Dec. 19, and Mount St. Joseph University on Saturday, Dec. 20.
