PROVIDENCE, R.I.- The Norwich Men's Wrestling team opened their two days of competition on the campus of Johnson & Wales with an appearance in the Wildcat Open.

Both Kade Crawford (Euless, Texas) and Rory Nolan (Wadsworth, Ohio) picked up wins in the 285-pound bracket with Crawford scoring a pin, and Nolan a tech fall with Crawford also defeating teammate Zachary Sulkis (Milford, Conn.). Picking up wins by fall and decision at 197-pounds was Keishon Martin (Pittsfield, Mass.). Gabe Moltumyr (Park Hill, Md.)  and took wins by pin and tech fall at 165-pounds, as did Ben Fournier (Hebron, Conn.) at 125-pounds.

The Cadets will round out competition in Providence with New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) Duals on Jan. 26 beginning at 9:30 AM.
