MANHEIM, Pa. — The Norwich University men's wrestling team saw four student-athletes recognized for their excellence in the classroom, as the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) announced its NCAA Division III Men's Scholar All-American selections.
A total of 473 student-athletes from 105 institutions were honored nationwide, recognizing individuals who demonstrated outstanding academic achievement while competing throughout the collegiate wrestling season.
"These student-athletes have demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence both on the mat and in the classroom," said NWCA Executive Director Mike Moyer. "We commend their dedication and the example they set for the sport."
Norwich placed four Cadets on the list:
- Robby Lyons (Criminal Justice)
- Fall GPA: 3.2167
- Cumulative GPA: 3.386
- Carver Moyer (Biochemistry)
- Fall GPA: 3.7118
- Cumulative GPA: 3.9407
- Kevin Rodriguez (Biology)
- Fall GPA: 3.7667
- Cumulative GPA: 3.7667
- Rory Nolan (Computer Security & Information Systems)
- Fall GPA: 3.7706
- Cumulative GPA: 3.8933
All four honorees also enjoyed strong performances on the mat throughout the 2025–26 campaign, regularly appearing in the New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) rankings in their respective weight classes.
The group was highlighted by Nolan, who delivered a standout postseason run, becoming the 25th NCAA national qualifier in program history and the first Cadet to reach the national championships since 2022.
Norwich's continued presence on the NWCA Scholar All-American list reflects the program's commitment to developing student-athletes who excel both on the mat and in the classroom.
