GORHAM, Maine- Continuing the dual meet portion of their schedule, the Norwich Wrestling team hit the road looking to capitalize on the momentum from this week's dual with Plymouth State into their second dual of the week against Southern Maine.

The Cadets started off hot, taking four of the first five matchups. Opening with decision victories for Kyle Merritt (Hope Valley, R.I.), and Thoren Berg (Holliston, Mass.) in addition to a tech fall for Simon Taraska (Willowick, Ohio) and yet another pin for Mason Sprinkel (Bel Air, Md.), with Carver Moyer (Easton, Pa.) earning another pin soon after. However, the Huskies finished strong by taking the final three bouts to earn the victory.

Norwich returns to the mat this weekend with back-to-back duals in Springfield, Mass starting with Springfield College on Friday Feb. 16 at 7 PM.
