NORTHFIELD, Vt.- Two members of the Norwich Men's Soccer team were recognized for their achievements both on the turf and in the classroom during the fall season with
Jeremy Pless (Titusville, Fla.) and
Oleksandr Kharchuk (Ukraine) being named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team for men's soccer.
As a history major, Pless holds a GPA of 3.6 as a history major, along with tallying three assists as a defender with nine shot attempts. Meanwhile, Kharchuk posted a 3.7 GPA as a cybersecurity major while being a fixture in the midfield adding a goal and an assist.
To be eligible for Academic All-District teams, a maximum of six players can be nominated, who are at minimum an academic sophomore and have a GPA over 3.50 while competing in 90% of games played or start in at least 66% of games played.
