NEWTON, Mass.- After an elongated six game homestand, the Norwich Women's Soccer team hit the road for the first time in three and a half weeks when they travelled to Lasell.
The Lasers put first year keeper
Michaela Dubey (Belchertown, Mass.) to the test early and often as they were credited with three shots on goal early before finding the scoreboard in the 16
th minute on their fourth. After Lasell continued to press, the Cadets would get opportunities with
Harley Murphy (Guyton, Ga.) and
Kat Probst (Gouverneur, N.Y.) generating shots late in the half, but were kept scoreless.
Lasell's domination continued in the second half and would tally their second goal in the 76
th minute. In the contest, Dubey made eight saves with six of them coming in the first half.
Norwich will continue their road swing when they travel to the University of Saint Joseph on Oct. 12 at 2:30 PM.
