NORTHFIELD, Vt.- The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) recently announced their Team Academic Excellence Award winners for the 2022-23 academic year. Among this year's recipients was the Norwich Baseball team.

With this award the ABCA recognizes the high school and college teams throughout the country who have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. All told, more than 450 collegiate programs were honored among the nearly 800 teams throughout the country.

Over the past academic year, the Cadets posted a team GPA of 3.14. Among the top individual GPAs were freshman Robert Rosko (Oxford, Conn.)  with a 4.0, classmate Isaac Parker (Jay, Maine) with a 3.97, and junior John Luchsinger (Durham, N.H.) with a 3.93.
