PAXTON, Mass- The Norwich University Women's Soccer team ended their season with a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Anna Maria Wednesday night at Caparso Field.

The Amcats got the scoring going early with a goal from sophomore Valentina Villa (Norwalk, Conn.) in the ninth minute. The first half remained a struggle as shots were 4-2 Anna Maria at the half with both sides having one shot on goal.

In the second half the Amcats came alive as they out shot the Cadets 7-2. Goalkeeper Rebecca Karris (Fayetteville, N.C.) stood tall during the barrage with two saves until sophomore Riley Michaud (Clinton, Mass) added an insurance goal in the 86^th minute.

Bella Roy (Weare, N.H.) and Jillian Patria (Rindge, N.H.) were the offensive standouts for the Cadets as the Women's Soccer season concludes.
