PAXTON, Mass- The Norwich University Women's Soccer team ended their season with a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Anna Maria Wednesday night at Caparso Field.
The Amcats got the scoring going early with a goal from sophomore
Valentina Villa (Norwalk, Conn.) in the ninth minute. The first half remained a struggle as shots were 4-2 Anna Maria at the half with both sides having one shot on goal.
In the second half the Amcats came alive as they out shot the Cadets 7-2. Goalkeeper
Rebecca Karris (Fayetteville, N.C.) stood tall during the barrage with two saves until sophomore
Riley Michaud (Clinton, Mass) added an insurance goal in the 86
th minute.
Bella Roy (Weare, N.H.) and
Jillian Patria (Rindge, N.H.) were the offensive standouts for the Cadets as the Women's Soccer season concludes.
