Box Score PLYMOUTH, N.H. - The Norwich University women's ice hockey completed an impressive week with its third straight shutout in a 6-0 win over Plymouth State on Saturday afternoon at Hanaway Rink.
Freshman forward Jillian Jackson (Fredericton, New Brunswick) scored twice as 13 different skaters got on the scoresheet for the Cadets as they rolled to their fourth straight victory.
Norwich (12-4-0, 10-1-0 NEHC) scored twice in each period as the Cadets swept the season series from the Panthers.
Sophomore defenseman Neris Archambault (Pepperell, Mass.), as well as senior defensemen Kayla Goleniak (Canton, Mich.) and Emma O'Neill (Hamburg, N.Y.) each added two assists.
Senior defenseman Morgan Tefft (Concord, Calif.) had a goal and an assist as well, while senior goalie Alexa Berg (West Fargo, N.D.) had 12 saves to earn her third straight shutout on the week. Berg improved to 7-4-0 on the year.
Ally LaGue (Barre, Vt.), Ingrid Holstad-Berge (Stavanger, Norway) and Kenady Nevicosi (Breckenridge, Colo.) each scored goals for the Cadets.
Norwich will host Johnson & Wales (R.I.) on Wednesday, Jan. 26 at 4 p.m. in a rescheduled game from Jan. 14. The Cadets will also host New England College on Friday, Jan. 28 at 6 p.m. before heading to Henniker, N.H. to take on the Pilgrims at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
