STANDISH, Maine - The Norwich University men's basketball team fell to the Saint Joseph's College of Maine Monks on Saturday afternoon by a 97-78 final score in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play.

The Monks went 14-22 from three-point land in the first half alone, as Jack Hostetler went 6-7 himself for 18 first-half points to lead SJC to a 54-29 halftime lead. Christopher Bryant (Crestview, Fla.) led the way with 22 points on 10-11 shooting from the field, just missing another double-double with a team-high nine rebounds. Jesse Davis (Woodinville, Wash.) had 18 points, as Norwich put up a respectable 47.1/32.0/50.0 shooting split as a team.

With the loss, Norwich falls to 6-17 on the year and 0-9 in the conference.
