Box Score PLYMOUTH, N.H. - The Norwich University women's soccer team dropped a 5-0 non-conference game to Plymouth State University on Wednesday afternoon.
Plymouth State's Kate Martin scored twice, while Emily Crawford and Amy Luther each added a goal and an assist to lead the Panthers' offense.
Plymouth State (3-0-2) continued its shutout streak to start the season with the clean sheet. The Panthers outshot Norwich 28-6. Mehgan McMullen (Northfield, Vt.) and Madison Oelker (West Liberty, Ohio) each tallied two shots on goal for Norwich.
Senior Holly Lutz (Hamburg, N.J.) surrendered four goals on eight shots on goal after getting the start for Norwich. Junior Leandra Flores-Nieves (Colorado Springs, Colo.) came on to make five saves on six shots on goal in relief.
Norwich (1-3-1, 0-1-0 GNAC) will look to get back on track when it hosts Johnson & Wales on Sunday in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) matchup slated to start at 1 p.m.
