NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Senior Jimmy Warden (North Andover, Mass.) and sophomore Ryan Booth (Northfield, Vt.) scored nine and eight points, respectively to lead Norwich University as the Cadets fell to Johnson & Wales University (JWU), 74-41, Tuesday night in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) contest.

Senior Quarry Greenaway (Westchester, N.Y.) led the Wildcats with 18 points and 13 rebounds for a double double and classmate Tom Garrick (Seekonk, Mass.) added 17 points as JWU upped its season record to 22-2 overall and 16-1 in the GNAC. Norwich dropped to 6-18 on the year and 3-14 in league play.

JWU burst out of the gate with a 22-2 lead up to the 10:45 mark in the first half before tacking on 19 more points to the Cadets' 13 to lead 41-15 at the break.

The Wildcats closed out the contest scoring 33 points in the second half as Norwich mustered 26 points in the stanza. JWU would score 30 points off of the Cadets' 18 turnovers, 28 being fastbreak points. The Cadets shot 29.8 percent in the game and 33.3 percent from the three point line as JWU finished the night hitting 39.7 percent from the floor and did the most damage from the free throw line, making 81 percent (17-21) of the shots.

Norwich wraps up regular season play on the road Saturday at Rivier University.
