Box Score 2 PAXTON, Mass. - The Norwich University women's volleyball team dropped a pair of Great Northeast Athletic Conference matches to Anna Maria College and Mount Ida College on Friday night.
The Cadets close out the 2015 season 0-11 in the GNAC and 5-17 on the year.
Anna Maria swept the Cadets in the opening round with a 25-21, 25-17, 25-21 decision before Mount Ida followed suit in the final game of the season by scores of 25-21-25-19, 25-19.
Senior outside hitter Tara Lyons (Pocasset, Mass.) posted a team-high 11 kills against Anna Maria and six against Mount Ida to close out the season with 177 kills. Lyons would wrap up her four year career with a combine 638 kills to finish third all-time in program history.
Sophomore setter Katie Crane (Avon, N.Y.) a combine 38 assists on the night. She would finish the year with 335 assists on the year and 1,039 career assists, ranking her second all-time in program history in just two seasons under her belt.
Freshman Emily Oliver (Sagamore Hills, Ohio) managed to put up 19 digs on the night, while senior Andrea Moreno (Newark, Del.) capped 14 digs on the day.
