ST. JEROME, QUEBEC - The Norwich University men's hockey team wrapped up its 2014 Quebec exhibition tour with a 3-1 victory over the St. Jerome Panthers of the Ligue de Hockey Junior Quebec (LHJQ).
Senior forwards Nevin Lawler (Fitchburg, Mass.) and Gerard McEleney (Canton, Mass.), along with junior defenseman Ryan Whitell (Calgary, Alberta) each scored goals for Norwich.
Norwich will open the 2014-15 regular season next Friday, Oct. 31 when it hosts Plymouth State at 7 p.m. at Kreitzberg Arena. There will be a Halloween constume contest sponsored by the Norwich University Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) that all fans are encouraged to participate in with prizes for the best costumes.
