Box Score NEW LONDON, N.H.—Junior Aliah Curry (Windsor, Mass.) converted an old-fashioned three-point play with two seconds remaining in regulation to lead the Norwich University women's basketball team to a 56-53 win against the Chargers of Colby-Sawyer College on Tuesday evening in non-conference action.
With the win, the Cadets improve to 5-4 on the season, while the loss drops the Chargers to 2-5.
With the game tied at 53-53 with 13 seconds to play and the possession in the Chargers' hands, freshman Lacey Stever (Fairlee, Vt.) recorded a steal and passed the ball to Brown, who fed Curry for the layup. Curry was fouled on the play, and nailed the free-throw to aid the Cadets to victory.
