With 13:18 remaining in the half, the Falcons scored eight unanswered points, setting the score to 15-7. Albertus Magnus would extend the lead to 18 in the first half and carried a 15-point lead into halftime.

Norwich opened the second half with five-straight points on an old-fashioned three-point play by Brandon Kuhre (Cornish, N.H.) and a layup by Evan Tullar (Chelsea, Vt.) to cut the Falcons' lead to 10 points.  The Falcons would answer with back-to-back three-point baskets by Jennings to open the gap again for the Falcons, who would lead by as much as 24 in the second half.

The Cadets, who shot 33.3 percent on the afternoon, were led offensively by Josh Cabrera (Providence, R.I.) and Tullar, who both totaled 14 points.  Cabrera shot 6-10 from the floor, 1-2 from three-point range and 1-1 from the free-throw line, while Tullar shot 6-13 from the floor and 2-2 from the charity stripe.  Nickolai Havoutis (Coral Springs, Fla.) added nine points for Norwich and Alex Preckol (Westford, Mass.) contributed seven points.
