NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Freshman forward Evan Tullar (Chelsea, Vt.) scored a game-high 16 points to help guide the Norwich University men's basketball team past visiting Rivier College, 65-60, Jan. 16 at Andrews Gymnasium. With their third straight home win, the Cadets improve to 3-4 in conference play and 4-9 overall.

Sophomore guard Nickolai Havoutis added 11 points in his return to the NU lineup. The Coral Springs, Fla., native did not miss a shot from the floor or the line (3-of-3 and 4-of-4, respectively) in 17 minutes of action.

Brian Troy led the Raiders (3-10, 1-5 GNAC) with 14 points, while Tom Poitras and Garon Whitney each pitched in 11 points.

Norwich looks to carry the momentum into a road contest against conference foe Lasell on Jan. 19. The game is set to tip off at 7 p.m.
