NORTHFIELD, Vt – The Norwich women's volleyball team swept Lyndon State College 3-0 in non-conference action on Tuesday night at Andrews Hall.

The Cadets (9-5 overall, 1-0 GNAC) dominated from the opening whistle and won by scores of 25-9, 25-13, and 25-13.

Junior Ivana Batur had a team-high nine kills and senior Thea Evans added seven to pace the Norwich offense.

Senior Molly Rice had 24 assists, junior Brittany Palmer added five digs, and senior Jessica Bielski had seven service points.

The Cadets travel to Green Mountain College on Thursday for a 7 p.m. start before returning to Andrews Hall for six straight home matches.
