NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The Norwich Cadets wrapped up a busy weekend of matches, as volleyball won 3-1 over Maine Maritime Academy in Andrews Hall on Sunday by set scores of 25-15, 25-16, 22-25, and 25-15.

Senior Molly Rice had a big day on the court, earning 24 assists and 11 digs. Classmate Thea Evans had 12 kills against the Mariners, as junior Ivana Batur followed up with 11 kills of her own. Senior Kiera Holmes kept the zone clear with 10 digs, receiving help from Jess Bielski who contributed eight.

The Cadets continue their six-game home-stand on Homecoming weekend, hosting Saint Joseph's College of Connecticut on Saturday at noon, followed by a 4 p.m. match later that day against Mount Ida.
