BABSON PARK, Mass. - Joe Moeller won three
individual swimming events, and Peter Bue had a hand in a pair of
victories in the pool as the Norwich University men's swimming and
diving team dropped a 147-119 decision at Babson on Saturday
afternoon.
Moeller took home gold in the 100-yard butterfly (57.47
seconds), the 200-yard butterfly (2:06.73) and the 200-yard
individual medley (2:07.55).
Bue won the 100-yard backstroke (57.37), and then teamed with
Zander Fields, Mike Zemanek and Jake Schaefer to capture the
400-yard freestyle relay in a clocking of 3:30.11.
Norwich gets back in the pool on Saturday, Jan. 23, when the
Cadets travel to Chicopee, Mass., to swim against Elms and Gordon.
The first events are set to get under way at 1 p.m.
