ONEONTA, N.Y. - Brian Radley completed 21-of-38 passes for 333 yards and two touchdowns to help Hartwick College defeat Norwich University, 28-7, in a non-conference football game Saturday afternoon at Wright Stadium.

Radley connected with Noah Koreman with a 64-yard TD strike early in the third quarter to supply the game-winning points, while a pair of Tosh DeMulder rushing touchdowns in the fourth quarter sealed the victory for the Hawks (3-0).

The Norwich defense held DeMulder to just 55 rushing yards on the day, but the nation's leading scorer found the end zone twice in the final 5:21.

Norwich (0-3) was led by freshman QB Kris Sabourin, who threw for 99 yards and rushed for another 73 yards. Freshman RB James McFadden chipped in 48 rushing yards and 38 receiving yards for the Cadets.

Harwick opened the scoring at 8:53 of the first quarter when Radley hooked up with Koreman for a 10-yard touchdown pass. The Hawks' extra point attempt was blocked, however, and they had to settle for a 6-0 lead.

Norwich grabbed a 7-6 advantage late in the second quarter when Sabourin capped an 11-play, 78-yard drive with a one-yard TD run.

The Cadets turned the ball over four times in the game, while the Hawks committed two turnovers. Norwich ran for 204 yards on the day, marking the third straight game that the Cadets have surpassed the 200-yard mark on the ground.

Senior DE Reza Afsarmanesh led the NU defense with nine tackles and 1.5 tackles-for-loss. The Cadets limited the Hawks to just 84 yards rushing. For the season, NU is limiting its opponents to just 79.3 rushing yards per game.

Norwich kicks off its Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) schedule next Saturday, Sept. 26, when the Cadets host Mount Ida College at Sabine Field. The contest, which falls on Parents' Weekend, is slated to kick off at 1:30 p.m. Full videostream coverage is available free of charge by logging onto www.NSNSports.net.
