Results

WALTHAM, Mass. - Chris Prybella had a hand in three victories in the pool, but it was not enough as the Norwich University men's swimming and diving team dropped a 144-123 decision to Bentley on Saturday afternoon.

Prybella won the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 21.73 seconds, and took gold in the 500 free (4:57.92) individually. He then teamed with Pete Bue, Zach Mahoney and Zander Fields to help the Cadets win the 200-yard freestyle relay with a clocking of 1:31.00

Bue and Fields each won individual events as well with Bue winning the 100 back (57.85) and Fields touching the wall first the 100 free (56.94).

Joe Moeller won the 400-yard individual medley (4:28.58) and Simon Hugh captured the 100 IM (1:02.12) to round out Norwich's list of winners on the day.

The Cadets (6-5) won seven of the 16 events, while Bentley won the other nine disciplines.

Norwich returns to action the weekend of Feb. 27-March 1, when the Cadets travel to Bristol, R.I., to compete in the New England Championships. A total of 15 Cadets will be participating in the event.
