Box Score

NORTHFIELD, Vt. - Junior Chad Anderson scored the game-winning goal midway through the third period, and senior Ryan Klingensmith made 20 saves to lead the 12th-ranked Norwich University men's ice hockey team to a 4-3 victory over Southern Maine on Saturday afternoon.

Anderson's goal at 11:58 of the third period gave Norwich (2-0-0, 2-0-0 ECAC East) a 4-2 lead, but the Cadets had to hang on for the victory after Southern Maine's Chris Travis netted a short-handed marker with 2:00 to play.
