NORTHFIELD, Vt. - The Norwich University
women's ice hockey team skated to a 0-0 tie with ECAC East foe New
England College Saturday afternoon at Kreitzberg Arena.
The Cadets move to 8-7-1 (7-5-1 ECAC East), while the Pilgrims
move to 8-6-2 (6-4-2 ECAC East).
Norwich outshot New England College, 42-15, but the Cadets were
unable to get anything past Pilgrims' goaltender Teraysa White. NU
goalie Chiara Traversa was just as solid for the Cadets, stopping
everything that she saw.
NU went 0-for-8 on the power play, while NEC was 0-for-4 on the
man advantage.
Norwich will resume its four-game homestand on Friday, Jan. 30,
when the Cadets host ECAC East foe UMass-Boston at Kreitzberg
Arena. Faceoff is slated for 7 p.m.
