NORTHFIELD, Vt. - Chris Prybella had a hand in
three victories, and Pete Bue won two races to lead the Norwich
University men's swimming and diving team to a split of a tri-meet
with Bates and University of New England on Saturday. The Cadets
beat New England, 93-26, but fell to Bates, 73-49.
Prybella won the 100-yard freestyle (48.17 seconds) and 200 free
(1:48.62) individually. He then teamed with Zander Fields, Zach
Mahoney and Kyle Kenia to win the 200-yard freestyle relay with a
clocking of 1:32.66.
Bue, meanwhile, won the 50-yard backstroke (26.01) and 50-yard
freestyle (23.20).
Norwich moves to 2-3 following the day's results.
The Cadets return to action on Sunday, Jan. 11, when they host
Colby at Goodyear Pool.
