NORTHFIELD, Vt. - The Norwich University
volleyball team continued its outstanding play on Saturday
afternoon, defeating GNAC rival Suffolk, 3-0, at Andrews Hall. The
Cadets won by set scores of 25-19, 26-24 and 25-12.
Junior Lisset Magdaleno led the way for Norwich (9-1, 3-1 GNAC)
with 15 kills, 17 digs and seven blocks.Sophomore Molly Rice
chipped in 25 assists to go along with 19 digs and one block.
Freshman Brittany Palmer contributed 15 digs, three kills and three
service aces.
Norwich concludes its brief three-match homestand on Tuesday,
Sept. 23, when the Cadets host GNAC foe Daniel Webster at Andrews
Hall at 7 p.m.
