STANDISH, Maine - The Norwich University
volleyball team saw its six-game win streak come to an end on
Saturday, as the Cadets dropped a 3-2 decision to GNAC rival
Emmanuel. The Saints won by scores of 18-25, 25-14, 26-24, 15-25
and 15-10.
Emmanuel improves to 4-3 (2-0 GNAC), while Norwich falls to 6-1
(1-1 GNAC).
Junior Lisset Magdaleno posted a double-double with a team-high
23 kills and 17 digs. Molly Rice added a double-double of her own,
dishing out a team-best 31 assists and coming up with a team-high
21 digs.
Norwich returns to action on Tuesday, Sept. 16, when the Cadets
travel to Poultney, Vt., to take on Green Mountain College. First
serve is slated for 7 p.m.
