Men's Swimming & Diving: Norwich Falls At Season Opener, 130-107

Results 

POTSDAM, N.Y. - Chris Prybella and Pete Bue each won two events, and Joe Moeller and Simon Hug captured one race each as the Norwich University swimming and diving team opened the season by dropping a 130-107 decision at SUNY Potsdam on Saturday afternoon.

Prybella won gold in the 100-yard freestyle (49.33 seconds) and the 200-yard freestyle (1:51.19). Bue, meanwhile, touched the wall first in the 50 free (22.87) and the 100 back (56.84).

Moeller picked up his victory in the 200-yard individual medley (2:11.26). Hugh earned a win in the 100 breast (1:08.51).

In all, 11 NU swimmers qualified for the NEISDA Championships. The Cadets are now 0-1 this season.

The Cadets return to action on Saturday, Nov. 15, when they travel down I-89 to New London, N.H., to swim against the Chargers of Colby-Sawyer College.
