WATERVILLE, Maine - Peter Bue, Joe Moeller,
Chris Prybella and Matt Kaye all won individual events, but it was
not enough as the Norwich men's swimming and diving team fell to
Colby, 132-79, on Sunday afternoon.
Bue won the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 22.91. Moeller took
gold in the 200-yard butterfly (2:06.85) and added a second-place
finish in the 200-yard individual medley (2:06.82).
Prybella, meanwhile, placed first in the 100-yard freestyle
(48.39) and added a runner-up showing in the 200-yard freestyle
(1:47.29). Kaye led the Cadets in the diving events with a victory
in the one-meter board (91.95 points).
Ben Courtney chipped in with a pair of second-place showings,
placing runner-up in the 200-yard backstroke (2:03.60) and the
50-yard freestyle (23.53).
Kyle Kenia added a second-place showing in the 500-yard
freestyle (5:14.46).
Norwich (5-3) returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 19, when the
Cadets travel to Babson Park, Mass., to take on Babson at 1 p.m.
