COLCHESTER, Vt. – The Norwich volleyball saw its unbeaten start to the season finally come to an end on Thursday evening, falling to Saint Michael's, 3-0, in a non-league match.
The Cadets, who opened the season with seven straight victories, fell by the scores of 30-18, 30-21 and 30-13 as they see their record dip to 7-1.
Statistically, Molly Rice led Norwich with 16 assists and 10 digs, while Ami Fuller added a team-high eight kills and Keira Holmes chipped in 10 digs.
Norwich returns to action on Thursday, Sept. 27, when the Cadets travel to Middlebury, Vt., to battle arch-rival Middlebury. First serve is slated for 7 p.m.
