Norwich University

Brady Farkas will spend his first year on the Cadets' bench in2013. Farkas joins Norwich after a four-year career as a pitcher atOswego State University (N.Y.). He won 10 career games for theLakers and threw 148.1 innings, registering 82 strikeouts andhelping Oswego to eight SUNYAC victories in 2012. 

At Norwich, Farkas will assist with pitchers and defensivepositioning, along with video work for hitters. 

A native of Clifton Park, N.Y., he is a 2008 graduate ofShenendehowa High School and was part of the team that reached aNo.5 ranking in New York State's Class AA that year. He also spentthree years on the Plainsmen varsity basketball team. 

Farkas has spent the past two summers as the head coach of theClifton Park Gators of the Eastern New York Mickey MantleLeague.

He also currently plays in the Albany Twilight League, thelongest running men's league in the United States. He was named thestarting pitcher in the league's all-star game in 2012.

Holding a degree in journalism, Farkas is also an intern in theNU Sports Information department.
